A major new initiative celebrating the world of short films was officially presented today at the RAI studios in Rome.
As announced in the official RAI press release, the Cinema and TV Series Department has launched “In Corto d’Opera”, a project dedicated to short films, developed in collaboration with RAI Cinema and spanning several RAI platforms.
Starting June 22, the selected short films will premiere in late-night slots on RAI 3 every Friday and on RAI 5 every Thursday and Saturday. In addition, from June 22, the complete collection of 39 short films will be available to stream on RAI Play.
This initiative represents an important step forward in promoting short-form cinema and bringing outstanding emerging and established filmmaking talent to a wider television and digital audience.
