The city of the future if not even the ideal city: the Japanese archistar Kenzo Tange had thought of Librino as a futuristic peripheral appendix of Catania, surrounded by greenery. His project, however, does not manage to see the light and the residential buildings begun in the 1970s, never finished, leave room for a progressive deterioration within a few decades.
